Holiday 2009 Top 10 Compact Digital Cameras for Use with My Digital Studio from Stampin' Up!

Looking for a compact camera to go with your new My Digital Studio software?

Here are 10 of the best Compact Digital Cameras reviewed in the last few months. (Three are shown here.)

Personally, I just received the Samsung TL225 (listed 3rd) as a gift from my dad. (Thanks dad!) I chose it because of the excellent recommendations and the very comprehensive review found here.

I absolutely love my new Samsung compact digital camera! It has so many features, including 2 LCD screens. The LCD screen in the front can be used to take pictures of yourself, which Russell and I do often. (No it's NOT vain!!!)

While in the Children scene mode, it shows a cute animated clown that your kiddos can look at so you can get a decent picture of a toddler or an active child. (See below.)

(The default in Children scene mode is flash off, so the pic above is a little blurry - user error!)

↑ Sierra did her own hair today. I asked if I could help fix it. Of course she told me no, the most common word out of the mouth of a 2 1/2 year old. BTW, I cropped right on the camera the picture above from this one:

 

↑ Once I figured out that you can have the animated clown on the front LCD and have the flash on at the same time, these kiddos helped me out by posing for a picture.

The LCD screen on the back is a 3.5" touch screen. Awesome! You can even take a picture using the touch screen. I have to say that my favorite feature is one way you can delete pictures using the touch screen. While viewing your photos all you do is draw an X on the screen and the camera prompts you to delete - yes or no! How cool is that!!!
