I have a motto: "50 before 50" which means I want to visit all 50 states before I turn 50.

I have visited all but 14 states.

Here are some pics of our recent travels to London and Paris (February 2009): 

We were in London when a huge snow storm rolled in. The city received 8 inches of snow and was shut down the next day. Our tours of Stonehenge, Windsor Castle, and Oxford were rescheduled to when we visit London the next time! (Unfortunately, no plans in the near future.)

My favorite painting at Musee du Louvre. The Wedding Feast at Cana (an Italian painting). It's in the same room as the Mona Lisa.

I originally wanted to be cremated after I died. Now I want to be mummified and buried in a magnificent sarcophagus.

I am ecstatic in this picture! We arrived at the top of Cathedrale Notre Dame de Paris right when they were ringing the bells in the North tower to call patrons to the next Sunday Mass. It was very loud and lasted about 5 mintues. I highly recommend climbing the almost 400 steps to experience the bells yourself.
